People would love Tyler’s music if anybody knew who he is.

I’ve never heard him play a song I didn’t like.

“Giles has an approachable, sincere vocal style that reminds me of classic country music. This one’s sure to tug on some heart strings.”

“If you’re looking for a slice of philosophy with your music, give Giles a spin on his track ‘Time Don’t Heal.’ It’s about the pain of being broken hearted not going away with time (as people so often repeat). It’s an expressive and enjoyable song, despite being so sad. Giles has an approachable, sincere vocal style that reminds me of classic country music. This one’s sure to tug on some heart strings.”

Tyler has spent the better part of ten years on the road as a solo artist and as a pedal steel and lead guitarist for several bands including Porter Union, The Brothers Roberson, Dusty Rust, The Harmed Brothers among others. Through ten countries and most of the United States, he honed his craft as a performer before settling in the Kansas City where he hosted a weekly songwriter night, Writers on the Rocks, at the venerable Westport Saloon.

When the pandemic took its toll on the music world, it included Porter Union amongst its victims and Tyler was left without a home for his creative drive. Investing in a home recording set-up, he learned the ropes of DIY recording and began working toward recording his own songs. Since then, Tyler and his wife, Cheyenne, have released four singles in 2022 with an album in the works. They recorded all the instruments themselves as well as filmed their own music videos for To Have & To Hold and Long Haul.

In 2023, Tyler and Cheyenne have brand new music in store and brand new cities on the horizon and are excited for what the future holds.
